Retirement by Design is a presentation that illustrates how you can translate your vision for retirement into tangible goals. Whether you are 10 or 40 years from retirement, you’ll learn investment strategies to help design the retirement you want. We’ll also discuss how you can add flexibility to your strategy to help you handle unexpected events and how you can keep your strategy on track.

In this class you will participate in a hands-on activity: seed starting! First, we will learn about the different types of seed starting media and the variety of heat and seed timing requirements for our Maine gardens. The instructor will also discuss various ways of propagating plants (division, cuttings, etc.). Bring garden gloves for the hands-on lesson. Students will take home their potted seeds. Open to all skill levels.

Do you ever wonder how or what would attract more pollinators to your garden? In this class, learn about which plants are most beneficial to both native and migratory pollinators and methods of gardening where you attract, welcome, encourage and provide long term habitat for the diversity of flora and fauna in your yard. We will delve into rewilding on a grand and small scale. Every little bit helps pollinators! Open to all skill levels.
